Just updated this site to a static version. I vaguely administer a few aging WordPress sites, which are annoyingly high maintenance (that is a lie, they require maintenance, and occasionally get hacked which is not fun at all) and I don’t get paid for this. With some time free this January I dipped back into the world of websites, and did a recce on publishing static sites.

Things I do when I have too much time on my hands

Ahoy, and seasonal greetings to you, blog chums. It’s a Saturday and I find myself at my office, whimsically fiddling with my computers. I have had more than enough of holidays by now. What’s left? Another movie, another chocolate, another sweet and sticky mulled apple cider?

I can’t take any more. So, instead of wandering the streets, or making endless OCD systems for backing up my data, I thought I’d say Hi to you, and share my list of Things I Do When I Have Too Much Time On My Hands.

An iA3 WordPress child theme

I very much enjoy my minimalist theme made by the lovely people at iA3, and have recently discovered that I share it with none other than Slyvester Stallone. I’m in good company, I think you’ll agree.

iA3 sell the theme with the proviso that it’s priced reasonably because they aren’t going to hand hold non-technical WordPress users. It’s not what they love to do. This post is some hacks I’ve added to get it the way I like it.
